I think that I have a good understanding of how important it is to live in the present moment. I’ve even written a post about how vital it is for us to not worry about the future or dwell too much on the past. But just because I know these things, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have times where I struggle, sometimes terribly, to actually live that way.

Right now, I am in one of those ruts. The school year is about to end. Summer is coming. After lots of hard work, I finally finished my thesis. I'm caught in between several beginnings and ends. Many recent efforts are coming to completion, and some future plans are in flux or need direction. It's been difficult to be present to the present moment, to push forward with focus and attention to accomplish the the work right in front of me. So today I decided to read through some quotes to help motivate me, and I hope that these might help you, too!
